She was born Oct. 19, 1905, in Russia and lived in Cheyenne for many years. She also was a resident of Phoenix for many years.
Julia was a college graduate with a degree in law.
With her husband, they owned and operated Todd Jewelry on Carey Avenue. She also authored several books.
Julia had been a guiding light to the Phoenix Hebrew Academy School, lifetime member of Hadassah and Amit, a supporting member of Kivel Campus of Care, Weitzman Institute of Science, Russian Resettlement Program and the Phoenix Community Kollel.
She is survived by her brother, Harry Shapiro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schrader Chapel with interment in Cheyenne Jewish Cemetery. Cantor Uri Neal will be officiating.
