Survived by his wife, Edna F. Swain; two children, Danny E. Swain of Prince George and Gail S. Carter of Louisa; one sister, Shirley F. Hughes of Winnabow, N.C.; one brother, Norman R. Swain of Watha, N.C.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2003 at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home, Saluda. A funeral service will be held 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield.
