GEORGE C. BELLMAN
Cherry Valley - Funeral services for George C. Bellman, 85, who died of pneumonia Thursday at his home at Beul, NY, were held there Sunday. Mr. Bellman was born at Cherry Valley, son of the late Christopher and Hannah Maria McFee Bellman. He married Lizzie M. Duesler, who survives, in 1877. He was a member of Sharon Springs Masonic lodge. For many of the 42 years that he was a member of Buel Presbyterian Church, he was superintendent of the Sunday School. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Earl Bellman of Ames; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Cooper of Fort Plain; a brother, William Bellman of Ames; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be at Fort Plain.
