Evelyn Pearl Larsen was born August 1, 1917, near Morton, MN, to Henry and Louise Buery. Evelyn was raised in Beaver Falls Township, near Morton, and she attended school in Morton.

Evelyn was united in marriage to Milton E. Larsen, August 14, 1938, in Redwood Falls, MN, and they lived and farmed near Morton while operating a trucking business.

They moved to Mapleton, ND, in 1950, where they farmed until moving to Brainerd, MN, in 1966. They lived in a number of communities before settling in Fargo, ND, in 1983.

Milton died June 16, 1995, and Evelyn continued to make her home in Fargo. Evelyn died Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Bethany Homes in Fargo, at ninety years of age.

Evelyn is survived by her four children, Melvin Larsen, Fargo, Esther (William) Townsend, Spokane, WA, Eunice Metzdorf, Everett, WA, and Samuel Larsen, Denver, CO; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Evelyn was preceded in death by an infant son, John.
