William Harold (Joker) Snoderly, 33, his wife, Minnie Snoderly, 32, and son Robert Harold Snoderly, nearly 5, of Mt. Ida, formerly of Huckleberry Mtn., met death suddenly May 7 when their truck and trailer left the highway 6 miles from Blackwell, Okla., and struck a bridge banister. The truck and contents caught fire, burning Mrs. Snoderly and the child beyond recognition but a state highway patrolman identified Mr. Snoderly. Mr. Snoderly had taken a truck load of lumber Monday to Kansas from Mt. Ida and at the last moment his wife asked to go along for an outing. They were returning with a truck load of feed for the Stillwater Milling Co., Ft. Smith.

Interment May 9 at Liberty Cemetery on Huckleberry Mtn. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. E.A. Justice assisted by Bro. Jackson and the Christian Church pastor of Paris.
