Grace L. Donough Garrett, 94, formerly of Mt. Gretna, died Tuesday, September 1, 2009, at Columbia Cottage in Palmyra. She was born December 8, 1914, to the late Robert S. and Elizabeth H. Landis Donough in Lebanon. She was a member of First Evangelical Congregational Church, Lebanon. She was a secretary. She graduated from Lebanon High School. She enjoyed needlework, reading, baking, and creating afghans. She loved the beach, cleaning, and her grandchildren. Surviving are daughter, Sally Ann, spouse of Andrew Henry of Palmyra; sons, James H. Garrett, Jr. of Cornwall, and Thomas A., spouse of Catherine Garrett of Lewisbury; grandchildren, Christopher Garrett, Susan Weiss, Michael Garrett, Timothy Garrett, and Jonathan Garrett; and nine great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Zion United Methodist Cemetery.
