Major League Baseball Player. He was an infielder (primarily second base) for four teams in six seasons in the major leagues. He broke in with the New York Highlanders in 1907. He also played with the Detroit Tigers (1912 to 1913), Buffalo Buffeds (1914 to 1915), and finished with the Cincinnati Reds (1916). In 603 games, his batting average was .261 with 202 runs batted in. His best year at the plate was in 1914 with Buffalo in the Federal League when he batted .313. He led all National League second basemen in fielding average in 1916.
