William "Bill" James Otto, age 56, of Chippewa Falls died Monday, Sept. 28, 2009, at his residence.
Bill was born Nov. 11, 1953, in Eau Claire to Virgil and Audrey (Kersten) Otto.
Bill is survived by his two brothers, David Otto of Foster and Chuck Otto of Lake Hallie; two sisters, Carol (John) Zemple of Foster and Barb (Steve) Brietenfeldt of Eau Claire; four nieces, Jennifer Zemple of Foster, Christy Otto of Arlington Heights, Ill., Valarie (Patrick) Dorrell of Maceline, Mo., and Jessica Otto of Burnsville, Minn.; one nephew, Daniel Otto of Foster; step-nephew, Michael (Mercedes) Brietenfeldt of Cape Cod; step-niece, Tara (David) Graham of Eau Claire; and six great- nieces and nephews; many other friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at Stokes, Prock and Mundt Funeral Chapel in Altoona.
Friends may call one hour prior of service on Saturday and from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at the funeral chapel.
"In this garden, I dream of a bed of flowers, bluebirds sing of the beauty all around us and every time the sun comes out, I can't help but smile."
Cremation Society of Wisconsin is serving the family.
