Mary Lombardy, 82, of 125 Chester St., life resident of Painesville, died Monday night at Lake County Memorial Hospital, Painesville, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Lombardy was born July 16,1899, a daughter of the late Nicandro and Theresa Christofaro Cardegna. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Painesville, and its Altar and Rosary Society.
Surviving are her husband, Andrew, six daughters, four sons, 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The daughters are: Marie Puleo of Perry; Theresa Fleming and Judith Eldridge of Painesville; Geraldine Ace, Streetsboro; Delores Bradenbaugh, Florida, and Rita Walters, Mentor. The sons are Donald, Nicholas and Charles Lombardy of Painesville, and Andrew Jr. of Madison.
