The death of Nelson E. Genthner occurred on Saturday at his home with his daughter, Mrs. Walter L. Emery, at the age of 76 years and one month. Mr. Genthner was long a prominent and highly esteemed resident of Parkman, where he served as selectman and in other town offices and was active in town affairs. He came to Bangor about three years ago. He is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. D. S. Whitney of Cambridge, and two sons, H. N., of Lisbon Falls, and Edwin C., of Bangor. He belonged to teh Good Cheer lodge, I. O. O. F.., of Guilford and the Parkman grange. Funeral services will be held at the Emery residence, 87 Wiley street, at 10:30 a. m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Augusta.
