Frankston - Services for Archie Eugene Cook, 77, are set for 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Frankston with the Rev. James Duncan and the Rev. J. A. Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Frankston, under direction of Thompson Funeral Home.
Mr. Cook died Wednesday morning in a Tyler nursing home after a long illness.
Born Aug. 11, 1901 in Frankston, he lived there most of his life. He was a farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Audrey Richards Cook of Frankston; two sons, Doyce Cook of Lovington, N.M. and Roland Cook of Seminole; a daughter, Mrs. Doris Lytle of Seminole; two sisters, Mrs. Tina Mae Hoffman of Trinidad and Mrs. Sallie Belle Hoffman of Frankston; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Preston Dickerson, Robert Dickerson, Herbert Riley, Eddie Henge, Jesse Smith and Oneal Smith.
