Funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon at Maple Grove church, when the Rev. E. W. Walls and the Rev. W. E. Vanderhoener will be in charge. Burial will be in Newkirk cemetery.
Those who survive Mr. Hendrickson are his wife and the following children: Miss Ella Hendrickson of Wichita, Miss May Hendrickson of Newkirk, Mrs. John Evinger of Kildare, Andrew Hendrickson of Garber, Albert Hendrickson of Texas, Martin Hendrickson of Ponca City. - The Republican News Journal, December 30, 1927, page 1
Note: Nels was born in Holbaek Kommune, Sjaelland, Denmark. Nels' wife was Christina (Miller) Hendrickson, the daughter of Nelson and Christina (Nelson) Miller 1867-1948. They were married in Oyens, Plymouth County, Iowa, USA in 1892.
