"Minnie" as she was known was the daughter of Arie and Anna Zylstra Samson who had four sons.
Minnie attended a one room school house. She married Gerrit Bruxvoort in Adel, Iowa and to this union were born five children. She enjoyed playing Hymns on the organ, reading, crocheting, sewing and making quilts.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerrit, daughter, Linda Lou, who died at birth 6 August 1946. Her parents, Arie and Anna Samson. Her Parents-In-Laws, Dick and Hattie Bruxvoort, and four brothers and their wives.
