Elzie Ray Brindley, 58, died at his home in Chaffin Addition Sunday, January 3 and funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Pilgrim Holiness Church with the Rev. J.H. Fortner officiating. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery with La Forge Undertaking Company service.
Mr. Brindley was born March 6, 1906, in Benton, Ky., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Brindley. He had lived n this city for many years and had been employed by Ward-Coppage for some time.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ora Brindley of the home; a son, Homer Brindley of Chicago; two brothers and a sister; a stepson, Clyde Barnett of this city; and one grandchild.
