Born in Wayne County, Tennessee, Mrs. Creamer was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Creamer (1987) and five siblings. In 1949, her family relocated to Ohio. Mamie retired in 1982 from National Canvas where she worked as a sewing machine operator. Her greatest joy was hosting her family for her southern cooked meals.
She is survived by her three children, Howard (Nanette) Creamer, Charles (Jane) Creamer and Brenda (Joseph) Stevens. She will be greatly missed by 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, and four siblings.
Friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee, from 2-9 p.m. Monday. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
