Adelaide "Ada" Marie Lovett was born about May 1860 in Philadelphia, PA to Patrick Lovett and Elizabeth McBride.

1860 Philadelphia, PA with her family, she was just a month old. Her father Patrick was 37 and a Conductor. Her mother was 32, and her siblings were John 10, Isabella 8, Alex 6, and Mary 2.

1870 same place, with Patrick being 47 and a Timekeeper for the CPRR, Elizabeth 42, John 20 a Car Driver for the CPRR, Isabella 18, Alexander 16, Mary 12, Ada 10, and Cecelia 6.

1880 Philadelphia, PA, (mother died that year), Patrick was a widow age 54, Isabella 24, Adelade 18, and Cecelia 15.

Adelaide's father Patrick died in 1888.

Adelaide married Joseph Howard Moore in 1890 as listed in the Philadelphia Marriage Index. They had at least one son Joseph L. Other children that may have been theirs: Adelaide Moore 1896-1900 and a Joseph E Moore born July 9, 1892 to a Jos. H. Moore and Adelaide M.

There was a Joseph Hampton Moore also at Philad. and he was also married to an Adelaide S. Whether these people are the same or different is not certain. They had a Harvey, Edward, and Dorff listed as their children.

Adelaide Lovett Moore died on January 24, 1916 at Manhattan, NY at age 53 as listed on the NY Death Index.

Mrs. Adelaide Moore, formerly of Philadelphia, who came here from Kansas City, Mo with her son, Joseph L Moore, was found dead yesterday from heart disease at her room in the Hotel Knickerbocker.

At New York, N.Y., Jan 21, 1916, Adelaide M Moore, daughter of late Patrick and Elizabeth Lovett aged 53 years. Relatives and friends invited to attend the funeral. Requiem high mass at Church of Transfiguration. Interment at Old Cathedral Cemetery.

Adelaide was buried in the family plot at Old Cathedral Cemetery, in Section O, Range 6, Lot 23 with her parents, siblings, and grandparents.
