Lisa Faye Reeves Byers, of Ladson, entered into her eternal rest September 19, 2009.

Born March 13, 1960, in Walterboro, she was a daughter of Mrs. Alice Hicks Youtsey and the late William Kirby "Bill" Reeves, Jr.

A graduate of John C. Calhoun Academy, Lisa was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

For many years, Lisa worked as a manager of Health Source in Summerville which was a home health care organization and had also worked in the emergency department of the old Walterboro Hospital.

She was the wife of the late Mr. Peter J. Byers and surviving in addition to her mother and step-father, Mr. Orval Youtsey of Summerville are: a brother, William Kirby Reeves, III and wife Melissa of Cottageville; a niece, Nikki Reeves Nettles of Walterboro; a nephew, Jacob Reeves of Cottageville; and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Helen H. Hicks of Hampton; as well as two great-nieces and one great-nephew.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ian Lee Purcell.

Interment was in Cottageville Cemetery, Old Jacksonboro Rd.
