Vernon H. Bell age 74, of New Brighton was accidently taken from us on October 15th, 2008. Preceded in death by parents Lucille and Harry; daughter in-law,Lanette; and brother-in-law, Bob Rolling. Survived by loving wife Barbara of 54 years; daughter, Arlene (Jack) Hansen, sons, Roger Bell, Rodney (Kris) Bell; 5 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren; sisters, Joanne (Orlo) Ekleberry; Betty Mae Rollings. He retired from Eastside Beverage. Vern had a heart of gold and a gift of gab. He will be terribly missed. Funeral Service Tuesday, 11:00am at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1900 NW 7th St., New Brighton, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Visitation also on Monday from 4:00-8:00pm at Miller-Brighton Chapel, 706-4th Ave NW, New Brighton. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
