Funeral Services For Mrs. Harbuck Are Held At Eakly
Funeral services for Mrs. A.J. Harbuck of the Lookeba community were held Wednesday, March 16, at the Eakly Assembly of God church, Rev. R.P. Corp, pastor, officiated.
Mrs. Harbuck died Monday, March 14, at a Hinton nursing home, following an illness of three years. She had surgery in March of last year and again in November. Her condition became worse which entailed extra nursing care. She was entered at the nursing home about a week before her death.
Gladys Maxine Moore was born to Cecil and Flossie Moore June 10, 1916, near Eakly. She was married to Earl Dungan in 1933. Seven children were born to them. Her husband and one daughter, Flossie Jane, preceded her in death.
In 1946 she was married to Atward J. Harbuck. Six children were born to them. She had been a member of the church for many years and was an active member until her health failed. She was preceded in death by her mother, one sister and one brother.
She is survived by her husband, Atward of the home; six sons, Duane and Ernest Dungan of Leadville, Colo., Leroy Dungan, Weatherford, Darrell Dungan, Kim and Jefferson Harbuck Jr., all of the home; six daughters, Mrs. Wanda Dungan Kline, of Weatherford, Mayrene Dungan of Oklahoma City, Patricia, Johnni, Veda and Jacki Harbuck, all of the home; her father and step-mother of Oklahoma City; five brothers; Marl of Oklahoma City, Cecil Jr. of El Reno, Albert of Alaska, Bob of Union City, and Dean Moore of Tucson, Ariz., and 11 grandchildren.
