Former Mountain Home resident, Allie Hosch, 75, of Jonesboro died Sunday (June 21, 1992) at Rose Care Nursing Home in Jonesboro.
Services will be held at 2 pm today at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leroy Franks officiating.
Burial will be at the East Oakland Cemetery.
A Baxter County native, Mrs. Hosch was born at Henerson Sept. 11. 1916. She moved to Jonesboro four and a half years ago, and was a retired waitress who had worked at Anglers Cafe for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by a son, Wilbur Howard Brown of Jonesboro; a daughter, Mary Louise Poynter of Grand Prairie, Texas; three brothers, Horace Green, Cleo Green and Bill Green, all of Mountain Home; two sisters, Virgie Lance of Oakland, and Mae Britt of Mountain Home; four grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Howard and Minnie Brooks Green; her husband, Walter "Cookie" Hosch; two children, Ned Brown, Jr., and Shelby Leon Brown; one brother and two sisters.
Pallbearers are Mark Stallings, Jimmy Buschong, Bill Swadley, Larry Green, Don Howard, and Larry Cox.
