Abstract of obituary:
Robert O Battershell, age 48, died unexpectedly before noon August 8, 1970. He had not been feeling well but said to feel better. A doctor came to the house and then he was pronounced dead on arrival at Crawford Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran of World War II, U S Navy, and belonged to the American Legion and BPOE. Survivors are his wife Helen Schuch and sons Larry and Rick of the home. Two brothers: John of Robinson, James of Spokane; and three sisters: Mrs Jack (Betty) Baker, Sacramento, California, Mrs Alva (Doris) Lackey and Mrs Harold (Barbara) Bennett. The rosary was held at 7:30 Monday and the funeral at 10:00 AM at St Elizabeth Church and burial was in New Robinson Cemetery.
