Mrs. Virginia Caroline Wright, 93, of Caruthersville, died May 20, 1993 at her home. Born Feb. 8, 1900 at Balm, N.C., she was the daughter of Richard Franklin and Dora Brown Marshall. She was a member of Eastwood Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, the widow of Gordon Wright and was formerly a merchant with her husband.
She is survived by a sister, Ferne Dare Crisp of Boulder City, Nev.; And eight nieces and nephews, Eleanor Crisp Phoenix, Diane Jeter, Jean and Pierce McGlaughlin, P.D. Hankamer, Dorothy Cotman and John and Bill Marshall.
Graveside services were May 23 at 2 p.m. at Little Prairie Cemetery, the Rev. Jim Norris officiating. Dean Funeral Home of Caruthersville in charge.
