AGED CITIZEN AND WAR VETERAN TAKEN

Mr. Sylvester Nelson of Wildwood Harbor died at his home Tuesday Morning about 4 o'clock. The deceased was a war veteran 78 years ago. The cause of death was a complication of disease and old age.

He came to this city in 1867 but lived here only a few years. About 3 years ago he returned and soon afterward was united in marriage to Mrs. Kent and since then has lived on her farm.

Besides a wife, he leaves four children to mourn their loss.

Prayer was held at the house Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock after which he was taken to the Methodist Church where Reverend Duffy conducted the service. Interment in Maple Lawn Cemetery.
