Kenneth L. Alexander, 67 of Springboro passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 after a long 17-year battle with cancer. He was born August 29, 1942 in Jackson County, KY the son of James and Linda Alexander. He was a member of the OCGA, NRA, and Middletown Sportsman Club where he served on the board of directors for many years. His love of life, his courage and strength was admired by everyone who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Thomas Q. Sweeney.
Kenneth is survived by his mother, Linda; devoted and loving wife of 46 years, Sue; loving and faithful daughter, Kimberly Sweeney (Chris) of West Chester; a granddaughter, Christin Bohrofen (Peter) of Fairfield and two great grandchildren, Carter and Elise Bohrofen; Three brothers, Burlon Alexander (Sharon) of Miamisburg, Doug Alexander (Kay) of Cullman, AL, and Tim Alexander (Melissa) of Sabina; a sister, Linda Vulgamore (Steve) Vulgamore of Columbus and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 30, 2009 from 5-8 pm at Anderson Funeral Home (Springboro). Funeral service will be Thursday, October 1, 2009 at 11:00 am at Anderson Funeral Home (Springboro). Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery.
