Pete Frank Velasquez passed away on Friday with his wife, Virginia, of 20 years, by his side along with his grandson, Kent Roska. He served with honors in the US Army during World War II. Pete loved to watch boxing.


Survived by wife, Virginia; one son, three sisters; one brother; five step-children; and numerous grandchildren. Pete will be greatly missed by family and friends.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road (1700 West), where a viewing will be held on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. and on Thursday from 9-9:45 a.m.
Interment: Utah Veteran's Memorial Park.
