Jacqueline Pennington, 55, of Spruce Pine, Ala., died Monday, July 27, 2009.Ms. Pennington was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a self-employed farmer. She was a member of Heritage Fellowship Baptist Church in Russellville.There will be a memorial service on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at 11 a.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville, with Roger Martin officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10 a.m., until 11 a.m., at the funeral home.Survivors include children Jennifer Nelson and husband, Benji, of Russellville, Aron Bentley, of Littleville, Julie Nix and husband, Brent, of Spruce Pine; mother, Alice Ann Pennington; brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Martin, Linda Goines, Terry Hendrixon, Johnny Pennington, Michael Pennington, Danny Pennington, Richard Pennington, Scott Pennington; grandchildren, Tyler Nelson, Austin Nelson, Skyler Nelson, Christian Nelson, Lorie Nix, Logan Nix, Bailey Nix; several nieces and nephews.
