Mrs. Mary Fish died at her home in Mallard Friday, after a lingering illness of several years. Her condition, however, had been critical only a week. The funeral was held at Mallard Sunday. Elder A. R. Crippen, of Cherokee, officiated. Burial was made in the Rush Lake cemetery.
Mary Hodgson was born in Stanhope, England, December 29, 1849, being at the time of death seventy-eight years old. She was married to Joseph Fish in June, 1874. To this union eight children were born. Her husband and two children preceded her in death. She was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints in 1898. Besides six children she leaves six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The bereft relatives have our sympathy.
