Arnold E. Lafferty, 77, Altoona, died Friday at Altoona Hospital. He was born in Logan Township to Charles M. and Margaret (Murtiff) Lafferty. He married Marion "Sissy" Wendt March 14, 1953, in Leesburg, VA. Surviving are his wife; two daughters: Denise Peterman and Rebecca Burk; two sons: Larry E. and Dennis E.; two sisters: Nancy Zeth and Patricia Walker; and brother, Carl. Predeceased by son, Charles S. Mr. Lafferty served as a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired as a compressor operator for the City of Altoona. He was a member of the Newburg Fire Association. Krish Funeral Home, Altoona. Committal, Rose Hill Cemetery, Altoona.
