PFEIFFER, HELEN IWAN, 57, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Friday, April 24, 2009 at home surrounded by family and friends. While working in Esthetics at Blades Salon and Spa and at Faceworks she touched many lives. Helen's effervescent spirit was contagious, and she never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Iwan. Survivors include her husband, Rick Pfeiffer; son, James Hill; her father, Phil Iwan; brother, Mike Iwan (MaryAnn); a sister, Carol Krebs (David); and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of her love of life will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
