Age 84, of Georgetown, DE, died September 26, 2009, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, DE, surrounded by her family.
She was a generous contributor to numerous local charitable organizations including The Tunnell Cancer Center at Beebe Medical Center, The Tunnell Center of Easter Seals, Georgetown Public Library, and the Southern Campus of Delaware Technical and Community College.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Robert White Tunnell, Sr. Eolyne is the proud mother of Paulyne Tunnell and her husband Paul Clifford of Belmont, MA, Bonney Eggleston and her husband Charlie of Milford, DE and Robert Tunnell, Jr. of Lewes, DE; loving grandmother of Ashley Piraino and her husband Antonio of Bethesda, MD, Chesley Nonemaker and her husband Justin of Mahopac, NY, Robert Tunnell, III and his wife Mindi of Long Neck, DE, Sarah Tunnell of Brooklyn, NY, Laine Tunnell of Dagsboro, DE, Sadie Tunnell of Lewes, DE, Sienna Tunnell of Lewes, DE and Sage Tunnell of Lewes, DE and loving great-grandmother of Cole Piraino and Camilla Nonemaker.
A funeral service will be held at the Georgetown Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, September 30, at 11 am, where friends may call from 10 am. With burial services immediately following at Blackwater Church, Frankford, DE.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware MS Society, 2 Mill Road, Suite 106, Wilmington, DE 19806.
