Mrs. Sarah Jane Morgan died at the family home about three miles sourtheast of Braggadocio, Friday, January 6, at the age of 77 years, and funeral service were held the following Sunday afternoon at the Baptist Church there, the Rev. Elliott conducting the service.
Mrs. Morgan was born December 19, 1872, in Tennessee, moving to this state with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Riley Adams, when a small girl. Her husband preceded her in death several years ago and she made her home with a son, Tom Frank Morgan. She is survived by two other sons, Earl of St. Louis and Chip Morgan of Jacksonville, Fla.; and two daughters, Mrs. Nannie Walden of Braggadocio and Mrs. Janie Marshall of Steele.
Interment was in Little Prairie Cemetery, this city, with LaForge Undertaking Company Service.

NOTE: Missouri Death Cert. #1953 states Mrs. Morgan was born in Polk Co., Ill.. Informant for the Death Cert. was her son Tom Morgan. We could not find a Polk Co., Ill, (only Pope and Pike). Believed she was born in Pope County, Ill. according to a Census Record.
