Mrs. Mary T. Smith, 78, passed way Sunday in a Centralia nursing home following a long illness. She was born in Lewis County on June 29, 1873 and had lived in the Vader area all her life.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Lena O'Connor, Chicago, Illinois; two grandchildren, Mrs. June Brunk, Roseburg, Oregon and Clifford Wilson, Kelso, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday in the Vader Evangelical Church, with the Rev. C. S. Bergstresser officiating. Burial will be in the Little Falls Cemetery at Vader.
