After entering the US Air Force, he made his residence in Tucson, AZ. Avid collector, Pete was passionate about history. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at 10:00 AM at East Lawn Palms Mortuary and Cemetery with the Reverends Obed and Rae Orozco officiating. Survivors include his wife, Anabella Corino-Franklin; daughter Charlene Franklin; step-children, Heather and Casey Jurna; parents, Henry and Aurella Franklin of Grovetown, GA; brother, Scott Franklin (Regina); niece, Charis Franklin and nephew, Micah Franklin.
