Grand Army Services
Services were conducted at 2 yesterday afternoon at Carter, Mont., for the late Orville Buck, the well-known sheepman, who died at his ranch home Friday morning. The body was brought to this city last evening and taken to W. H. George's parlors, where services will be held under the auspices of the Sheridan post, G. A. R. Rev. P. W. Haynes will have charge of the services at the chapel , and the ritualistic services of the G. A. R. will be exemplified at the grave. Interment will be in Highland cemetery.
Mr. Buck was a member of Company G, Sixth Minnesota volunteers in the Civil war.
Note: Death certificate gives 10 April 1843 as date of birth.
