Ina Elizabeth Pierce, 88, of Leitchfield, died Sept. 5, 2005, at North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation Center in Radcliff. She was a housewife and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Sylvester Pierce; a son, Carman Pierce; and a grandson, Kevin Clark. Survivors include five sons, Oran, Charles Elmo, Dwayne, Bruce and Michael Pierce; five daughters, Joyce Carter, Carol Sumner, Phyllis Higdon, Sandra Bierly and Ann Casebier; one sister, two brothers; 26 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren. The funeral is 11 a.m. Central time Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Peonia. Burial will be in the St. Anthony Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Central time Wednesday at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Central time.
