Graveside services for Harold L. Qualls, 77, a longtime Clovis-area cattle rancher, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Tollhouse Cemetery .
Mr. Qualls died Thursday.
He was born in Taft and had lived in Clovis for most of his life.
Mr. Qualls had been a cattle rancher for nearly 30 years before retiring in 1972. He had a 160-acre ranch in the foothills near Burrough Valley.
He had operated a lumber yard at Huntington Lake before going into the cattle business.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a member of the Fresno Elks Lodge.
Surviving are a stepson, William Van Vleet of Oregon; two sisters, Jean Bretz of Clovis and Alice Paul of Fresno; four grandchildren; and a great- grandchild.
Services are being held under the direction of Clovis Funeral Chapel. qualls
