She was born October 6, 1911, to Robert A. Wiles and Sara Stogsdill Wiles in Webster, Arkansas, and was reared and educated in Orlie, Texas.
Nannie moved to Midland in 1934, and in 1938, she married Bennie Johnson.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Anson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, James Curtis Stringer.
Nannie is survived by her husband, Bennie Johnson of Anson; sons - Floyd "Shorty" Johnson of Midland, Tommy Johnson of Anson, Dan Johnson of Midland; daughter, Viola Williams of Duncanville, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren.
