William Henry Kelton (known as Henry) was the son of Minerva and William Kelton, Jr. He was married to Nancy Kidd. They were the parents of: Mary Ann "Polly" Kelton 1832, Emerson Thomas Kelton 1834, Eliza Jane Kelton 6/3/1836, Elvira Elizabeth "Betty" Kelton 1/5/1840, William C. Kelton 1/7/1842, Margarette Kelton 1843 (died bef 1860), Matilda Kelton 1844 (died bef 1860), Alvin Washington Kelton 1847, John Burton Kelton 1/19/1849, Martha Kelton 1851, Lafayette Moses Kelton 8/1852, and Sarah Frances "Sally" Kelton 1855. The first six children were born in Tennessee while the last six were born in Missouri.
