He died in what is now Lewis County West Virginia. Floyd Linger died of Hemiplegia due to Apoplexy and Senility. His place of death was in Roaring Creek District, Randolph County, W.Va. (rural area near Lantz). The F.E. Runner Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
