Minnie Arnold, 86, died on Monday, Sept. 7 at Seton Medical Center in Austin. A native of Hawley, Texas, she was a daughter of Sydney and Alfie Neas Hill. Minnie spent many years of her life in the Abilene area. She was married to the late Leroy Arnold. Minnie was a charter member of the Hoover Valley Baptist Church in Hoover Valley. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and making afghans.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Bobby Joe Northcut; and granddaughter, Amy Walker.

Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Arnold of Big Springs and Marilyn (Ray) Walker of Cranfills Gap; grandson, Jason (Alana) Walker; and great-granddaughter, Lilly.

Visitations will be held at the Putnam Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 9 from l0 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 10 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be held at the Hoover Valley Baptist Church on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. with burial following at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Burnet.
