Kyle Lynn Burton 1962 ~ 2007 On April 18, 2007, Kyle Lynn Burton returned to his Father in Heaven. He was born to William L. and Renee Tapp Burton July 9, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah. After years of ill health and many hardships he is now filled with great joy in reunion with his best friend, Jesus Christ. He married Pat Thueson and was later divorced. Kyle was a very ambitious, hard worker, being a perfectionist in his profession working for the LDS Church. Due to limitations, he began studying and learning more about classical music, and spent many hours studying composers. He filled an honorable mission to the Portland, Oregon Mission and because of his size and happy smile children flocked to him and called him their "great big teddy bear". He loved life, beautiful flowers and camping in the mountains with his brother and father. He especially enjoyed entertaining his family with a large assortment of fireworks, and many selected movies. We all love him so much and are grateful for Kyle being in our family. He is survived by his mother, Renee, brother Russell and Sue Burton, one niece, Alissa and three nephews, Blake, Tim and Parker. He was preceded in death by his father, William and grandparents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the Canyon Rim Stake Center, 3051 South 2900 East. A viewing will be held on Saturday, from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 E. 4580 South. Condolences may be sent to www.holbrookmortuary.com Due to Kyle's love for missionary work, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LDS Church Missionary Fund.
