"CRAWFORDSVILLE - Laura A. Hollis, 92, died at 8:25 AM Saturday, Dec. 30, 1989, in Culver Memorial Hospital, Crawfordsville, following a three-year illness. Born near State Line in Warren County, on Feb. 8, 1897, she was educated in Warren County and lived most of her life in Warren County before moving to Crawfordsville eight years ago.

She was married in Warren County to Emmett L. Hollis, and he died Feb. 3, 1967.

Surviving are a daughter, Mildred Hollis of Crawfordsville; two sons, Cecil Hollis of Veedersburg and Marvin E. Hollis of Lafayette; and a sister, Mary Bush of Danville, IL." - Journal & Courier, Lafayette, Indiana, Sunday, December 31, 1989 (Obituary provided by Vonda J Dowell)
