Husband of Minerva S. Shannon. He passed away at his home, 910 W. Front St, as a result of a stroke.

His wife and one son, D.A. Creed,survive. He was a life-long Democrat and took a great deal of interest in all political questions. He retired from active work about 6 years before his death.
