He was the son of John F. Egbert and Ruann McIntire.

"ATTICA-- Albert G. Egbert, 76, formerly of 803 Taylor St., Attica, died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Orlando General Hospital, Orlando, Fla. He had been in failing health 13 months.

Born at Stevensport, Ind., he had resided at Orlando since 1976. Mr. Egbert retired from C&D Battery Co. of Attica in 1970. After retiring he worked at his hobby, repairing and building furniture.

Mr. Egbert was a member of Attica Free Methodist Church and Campers Club.

In 1944 he was married at Evansville to Evalena Ruark, who survives.

Also surviving are four sons, George Egbert of Hobart, John Egbert of Williamsport, Jack Egbert of Orlando, Fla., and Donald Egbert, who is serving with the Air Force; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Viola) Fuhrman of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Dale (Ruann) Coffing of Crawfordsville; and two sisters, Mrs. Orena VanBoven of Logansport and Mrs. Florence Schatz of Sun Valley, Calif.
