"John R. Eglin, 67, native and life-long resident of Ocean Springs, died at the residence of his brother, Charles Eglin, 5:15 a.m. Sunday. Besides his brother he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Henry Armstrong and Miss Annie Eglin, Ocean Springs, and Mrs. J. S. Busbee, Fort Worth, Texas. Mr. Eglin had been engaged in mercantile and stock business for a number of years and retired a few years ago. The funeral will be at 4 p.m. today from the residence of his sister, Mrs. Armstrong on Bowen avenue. Services at the home and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church by Fr. Francis Deignan(sic). Interment at Catholic Cemetery in Ocean Springs,."
