Services Held For Mrs. Weeks
Mrs. Cellie Rosetta Weeks, 95, of 501 East Ferguson died Feb. 28 in the Wynnewood hospital.
She was born March 11, 1873, in Winfield, Ala., and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist church.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 3, at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist church with Rev. Cecil Gray and Rev. Finis Steelman officiating. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery with Bahner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were her grandsons – J. R. Thornton, Jack Thornton, Ernest Thornton, Garland Weeks, Don Weeks, and Jerry Weeks.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Retha Orsborn of Davis and Mrs. Carrie May of Fresno, Calif.; three sons, Robert Weeks of Tonkawa, Okla., Belton Weeks of Stillwater, Okla., and Berry Weeks of Lincoln, Mich.; one brother, Dee Barryhill of Guin, Ala., 16 grandchildren, and several great and great-great grandchildren. Five of her children preceded her in death.
