Circa 1872, she married Dr Oliver Treat Bundy, Jr, MD, a veteran of the Civil War and the youngest of six children born to the union of Dr. Oliver Treat Bundy, Sr. and Lydia Smith. Dr. Bundy had previously been married to Miss Frances M. Cannon, whom he divorced shortly after 1870.
Helen died on 04 May 1875 in Deposit, Delaware Co, NY, in her thirty-second year of her young life.
