Deaths
Emily T Eikenbary, aged 66 years, widow of the late Deputy Sheriff Eikenbary of Lancaster county, who was accidentally killed in 1913, died at midnight Monday night at her home, 519 North Thirteenth street. Mr. Eikenbary died as a result of injuries received when he fell into a pit at the Traction company power house. The body of Mrs. Eikenbary is being held at Brown & Doyle's parlors. Emily Theodora Roberts Eikenbary was born in Covington, Ky., June 7, 1849. Miss Roberts was married at Danville, In., to James Crawford Eikenbary, September 8, 1869 and removed at once to Plattsmouth, Neb., where they resided until 1897 and at which time they removed to South Dakota. In 1904 Mrs. Eikenbary removed with her husband to Lincoln, where she and since resided. Brief funeral services will be conducted at the home Thursday at 9 a.m., and interment will take place at Plattsmouth Thursday at 1:30. The deceased is survived by five children. They are Henry Elmer Eikenbary, Ithaca, Neb., May Anderson, Lincoln; Ellen Eikenbary, Lincoln; Elizabeth Polk, Lincoln and Anna Phillip, Billings, Mont.
