Janice Alford Seay, 58, was taken from us unexpectedly and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Golden Plains Community Hospital in Borger.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Riverview Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Gilmore, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mrs. Seay was born Oct. 2, 1946, in Bartlesville, Okla. She was a resident of Linden from June of 1978 until the fall of 2000 when she returned to Borger. She attended Phillips High School and loved to cook, play cards and visit with friends on the Internet. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church and the Phillips Alumni Association. She married Willie Seay on Nov. 13, 1970, in Altus, Okla.
She is preceded in death by her father, C.I. Alford.
Survivors include her husband, Willie, of the home; two sons: Steve Geerdes and wife Stacey of Plano and Donnie Geerdes of Borger; one daughter, Donna Mowles and husband Ron of Peoria, Ariz.; a brother, Dallas Alford of Plano; two sisters, Sue Trumbly of Fritch and Stacy Mitchell of Borger; her mother, Frances Cooper Alford of Borger; two granddaughters, Roxan and Madison Alexander of Peoria, Ariz.; one grandson, Ashton Mowles of Peoria, Ariz., and many nieces and nephews.
