Obit: ELIZABETH ALMA SHIPP, was born 1 Nov 1867 near Cleveland OH to JOHN and JENNY CARANAHAN BRIER, died 16 Jan 1954 at home of daughter LINA COLLINS, Worthington MO. She came to MO at age 3. Married 28 Dec 1889 JAMES G. SHIPP. 8 children born, 3 died as infants, ZELMA PENNINGTON and BERNICE SHIPP preceded her with the husband. Left children, CLARA W, Chillicothe MO; MAUD OAKES, Chillicothe MO and LINA COLLINS, WORTHINGTON; brother JAMES BRIER, Perry OK.
